Kirsty Glen

Kirsty Glen, Pianist and Organist studied music at Napier University, Edinburgh. As a professional musician she has played at many of Scotland’s most prestigious venues, entertaining famous actors, musicians and even Royalty. She also works with a top ceilidh band with whom she has performed throughout the UK as well as Cyprus and the Middle East.

Kirsty is a talented and experienced performer whose abilities cover a number of genres from a popular local Classical Duo to an Irish band where she plays piano, accordion and sings. She teaches music and piano at a local school and has a fine alto voice.

Kirsty has been pianist with the Choir since 2011.

John trained as a first study singer at the Birmingham Conservatoire under Keith Darlington. He later studied with the baritone specialist at the Royal Academy of Music in London, Glenville Hargreaves.

During this time John gained his teaching Diploma for Voice and his Music Degree from the Conservatoire as well as a performance Diploma from Trinity College London.

Currently John teaches singing at Marcia’s Dance Centre in Calpe and Lady Elizabeth School as well as performing solo work for various groups around the Costa Blanca. John is a member of the Spanish Chamber Choir Contrapunctum in Alicante. He founded the chamber choir 152.8 and is the Musical Director of The International Choir and Dapper Cadence Barbershop Group.

John was a member of the Bass Section of the Choir for a year or so in 2009 and joined the musical staff in October 2018. John has Directed the Choir since September 2019.
